So what is this book that all the fuss is about?
OK, now I'll tell you.
In 1859 a book called 'Self Help' was published by a Scottish doctor called Samuel Smiles.
The book became such a success that many similar books sprung up, with similar messages.
And they became called 'self help' books.
So not only did the book inspire thousands of people to live better lives, it inspired the entire self help industry!
It certainly inspired me to set up this website, and give a whole new generation of people a chance to read this amazing book.
